Privacy Policy

The short version

Cutaro is an extension that runs locally inside Adobe Premiere Pro. Your audio and video are processed on your computer — they are not sent to our servers.

What Cutaro handles locally

• Your media and sequences — analyzed on your machine; never uploaded or shared by us.
• Preferences and presets — stored locally in your user folder (e.g. %APPDATA%/Cutaro on Windows).
• Your AssemblyAI API key (if you use diarization) — stored locally and encrypted at rest.

Optional “mixed audio” diarization (third-party service)

If you use the mixed audio mode, Cutaro extracts the selected audio and sends it to AssemblyAI (a third-party cloud service) using your own API key, to detect who is speaking. That processing is governed by AssemblyAI’s terms and privacy policy. This feature is optional; the “separate mics” mode uses no cloud service. Cutaro does not receive a copy of that audio.

If you join our waitlist, we store the email address you provide solely to notify you about the launch and early-access pricing. We do not sell it, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Licensing & activation

Once paid licensing is available, activation may exchange a license key and a basic device identifier to validate your license. This section will be updated when that feature ships.
